About the event
The blocks start out feeling like a log cabin, but then they twist and turn! You will be delighted with the results of any jelly roll that you choose!
We will construct the entire top of the quilt in class… with very little homework! At least that is the goal, since we start with precuts!
The Christmas fabrics have arrived! Come choose from the best selection and the Quilted Goat!
Fabrics Required:
72” x 72” Throw size quilt
1 Jelly Roll- Christmas colors- or others
Background: 2 ¼ yards
Border: 1 1/3 yards
Backing: 4 ½ yards
Binding: 5/8 yard (8 – 2 1/2” strips)
Bring to class:
Sewing Machine- with foot pedal, knee lift, cord, jeans needles, zipper foot
Rotary cutter, mat and at least a 12” x 3” ruler
Thread to match your fabric choices
Quilting pins, scissors, clips
Other Options:
Small square rulers to trim blocks
Plastic binder sleeves- for your pattern to open
